The 2017 Triples Championship has been won by D. Thurlow, D. King and B. Horsfall who defeated J. Olson, P. Corby and M. Farrawell in quite hot and demanding conditions.
The 2017 Minor Pairs Championship is underway with most Round 2 (Semi-Finals) matches played. P. Barnett and M. Farrawell are the first team into the grand final and are waiting on the winner of D. Pagett/B. Ellam v T. Bell/S. Colyer.
The 2017 TRIAL BAY CLASIC PAIRS has been played in very windy weather. Michael Turner and Ian Taylor defeated Sam Laguza and Kim Jacques to win the $3000 first prize. More information in the Latest News Section.
The closing date for nominations for the 2018 MBC committee has been extended but is rapidly reaching the final closure date with the AGM on Wednesday September 27th at 5pm after the social bowls. The AGM will include complimentary members BBQ roll and beers.
The second Monday Ingenia Pairs day was held on Monday September 18th with 36 teams participating. The greens were again quick and the weather was excellent. All players enjoyed the good lunch provided by a terrific catering and service crew. The day had 5 teams finish with 3 Wins and countback on Ends and then margins was needed to decide the placings for 1st to 4th prizemoney. Larry Meere however won the Game 3 card convincingly for the second time running.
1st was Michael Howard and Max Farrawell, 2nd Col Young and Eric Rowsell, 3rd R. Stone and D. Abela and 4th M. Wilcher and Chook.

A NON-SMOKING POLICY HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED.
All bowlers are requested not to smoke on the greens and immediate surrounds (including seating at green edge) in consideration of all other bowlers.
The renovation program of our greens have produced excellent surfaces with many positive comments from club and visiting bowlers directed to our greens staff. All members are expected to treat the greens with respect with regard their deliveries and care around the ditch when stepping on/off the green.
