South West Rocks is a popular location for visitors throughout the year due to its ideal climate, inviting beaches and range of activities.

The town has ample facilities to accommodate the locals and all visitors comfortably.

Bowls at South West Rocks

The greens are open for members and visitors to use 6 days a week – closed on Monday.

Entry names can be placed on sheets outside the Bowls Office at the club. Phone entries should be made on (02)65665143 between 1 -2 hours prior to start of play.

Tuesday – Open Mufti Selected Pairs/Triples at 1 pm

Wednesday – Nominated Mufti Pairs at 1 pm (2pm in daylight saving)- 2 x 10 end, 3 bowl matches with

1 and 2 Game winners progressing to elimination finals.

Thursday – Ladies Day (9 am,uniform), greens available after 1.30 pm

Friday – Open Selected Mufti Pairs/Triples at 1 pm (3pm in daylight saving)

Saturday – Mens Selected 4 bowl Pairs at 1 pm. Ladies Triples/Pairs at 1 pm. Uniform required on

Saturday.

Visitors may roll up between 10.30 am and 1 pm each day the greens are open, after the days social competion and during the social competition if green space is available (by checking with the committee person on duty). A $5 fee is to be placed into the honesty box on the wall of the Bowls Office next to the Mat/Jack box.

SW ROCKS continues to do well in the 2018 PENNANT COMPETITION - 5's lead the competition with 6's and 7's close in second place.

The entry sheet for the 2018 Major - Minor Pairs championship has been posted on the noticeboard with play to start after Pennant competition. The Triples competition woll commence after the Trial Bay Classic Pairs.

Newer bowlers will soon be able to enter into the 2018 State Rookies Competition. Play in Singles and Pairs is scheduled for September.

From Saturday 10th March all club prizes for social play and in club event.s will be paid in Club Money Vouchers will can be used for any in club purchase or "banked" on the members club card for use within the current financial year.

A NON-SMOKING POLICY HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED.

All bowlers are requested not to smoke on the greens and immediate surrounds (including seating at green edge) in consideration of all other bowlers.

The renovation program of our greens have produced excellent surfaces with many positive comments from club and visiting bowlers directed to our greens staff. All members are expected to treat the greens with respect with regard their deliveries and care around the ditch when stepping on/off the green.
